I've Been SEW busy!

I have been working really hard on getting my BossyBoots Baby boutique organized for the street fair in November. I have been sharpening my sewing skills by making things like burp cloths, binky clips, owl teethers, nursing covers, and my latest and greatest.. a maternity hospital gown! Here are the pics.. The first time I make something I always make it for myself because there is sure to be errors, but all in all I think it came out so cute and I can't wait to wear it someday for baby #2!
I also went to the store today and bought a BUNCH of new fabrics so I will be adding those to my BossyBoots site as well as the fabric options to order stuff. I'll post the link when everything is up and running!! In the meantime, here are the pics of the hospital gown!

Cute bow on the front and ribbon closures in the back! it overlaps so your bum doesn't show.

Closeup of sleeves w/ contrasting bias tape

I put snap tape on the sleeves for easy access (for nursing, and esp for me..the epidural!!)

  1. Oh My Gosh Kelly this came out amazing! I love the little details like the bow at the neckline and the snaps and the thoughtfulness of the gown overlapping in the back!
    And the fabric is adorable!

    Love you!
