Preston's 4 month checkup

Well today Preston had his 4 mo. checkup. We are a little behind on the checkups since he had RSV, we couldn't get his 1 mo. shots because he was sick. So now we are behind but thats OK! Anyway, he did great! He was in the 5th percentile at 2 mo. for height and weight and head cir. Now hes in the 50th! So he's all caught up! He is tippin' the scales at 14 lbs. 4 oz. and is 25" long! He is a hefty eater so she gave us the OK to start him on veggies. I gave him sweet potatoes for lunch today. Mom took pics so I'll post those! He also got his shots which he took like a champ! He as mad for about 10 seconds (turned beet red and screamed at the nurse!) and then forgot all about it for the rest of the day! The doc said he is really strong! And as I was telling her he is able to roll over both ways she was saying "oh really? wow!" and then off he went, tummy, back, tummy, back all the way down the exam table to her! HAHA! Show off! Preston has come such a long way in the last few months, and we've all been through so much with him being sick. He is such a blessing and I thank God everyday for sending him to us. I can't believe our baby is 4 months already! (and yes, I will probably be posting every month and saying the same thing!) Enjoy the pics, courtesy of Rainey Day Photography ;) (aka my mom!)

Now that I am a Mom, I am starting to realize how important it is to take pictures everyday! To capture those random moments of our families that are so adorable. I'm such a proud MOM! I love to look back at all the photos I took in a week and say, "if I hadn't have taken that picture, I might have forgotten about this cute little moment"! Danny's First Fathers Day!

Danny had to work on Father's Day so Preston and I gave him his present on Saturday. We made him a card, the picture of it will be in this post. And we got him some board shorts since he loves to wear them every day! We got a great deal on them and he loved them! Here are some pics of Preston and Daddy. Happy 1st Fathers day babe, thanks for being such a great supporter for our family. We love you!

Happy 4 month birthday Preston!!!

Today our baby boy is 4 months old. My how the time flies! We all spent the day together and went to some fun birthday parties. Happy 1st birthday to Jace, and 2nd birthday to Haydyn!! Preston was such a good boy, mingling and everything! He is able to roll over, although its not usually by choice..He laughs and coos, and can hold his head up on his own now. He has been sleeping through the night since about 3 months. Here are some of Preston's current favorites at 4 months old...

THING TO WATCH: Baby Bach and he likes Mickey's Playhouse too
SONG: The good morning song (I sing it every morning when I get him out of his crib)

Susan at A Southern Daydreamer

We took Preston in the pool for the first time yesterday.

It was a little chilly and he wasn't feelin' it!

So today I tried again and he LOVED it!

Mady and I took him in my mom and dad's heated pool.

He kicked and splashed and didn't cry once!

We will have to get him a little floatie with a shade

to keep his lil blondie bald head outta the sun.

I can't believe how big he is getting!
