I have been getting better at sewing and I have made a few exciting things! I made a pillowcase for my neighbor's daughter out of her crib sheet. It came out really cute! I also made mini pillowcases for my parents travel size pillows. I did an apron that came printed on one sheet and you cut out the pieces and sew them together. It sounds easy, but there were minimal directions so I ended up doing it my own way, trial and error! It took me about 2 days (obviously everything takes twice as long with a toddler running around!) And I also made a nursing cover out of a yard of fabric i got for $3 on clearance at hobby lobby! I have a few more projects in store, like a super cute baby blanket!

ReplyDeleteI love it all! I've had to pull out my sewing machine from a year ago! It had been too long! I have some fabric I thought about using to make an apron, I think you may have given me some inspiration/motivation to get up and make one! :)
