Happy 5 month Birthday Preston!!!

Today our baby boy is 5 months old! My how the time flies when you're having fun! Preston has been such a blessing to us. He is taking really good naps lately. Usually 1-2 hours, so thats nice for me to get the housework done. Also, as you know we started him on veggies. He seemed to like the sweet potatoes, but was just getting used to the idea He liked the peas a lot, and likes squash even more! He loves to play in his jumperoo in front of the TV. He watches anything on the Disney channel! He can (on occasion) put his binky in his mouth all by himself. He also started reaching for you, if he is in his swing or jumperoo and you go to get him out. I know its not that big of a deal but it's so darn cute! His favorite thing to do is barrel roll! I'll put him on his blanket in the play room and when I come back a minute later hes rolled across the room and is getting into whatever looks nice to chew on! He also loves to read books. We read one before every nap, and then before bed every other night (the other nights he gets a bath instead of book). He likes to play with his feet and suck on his toes which he figured out he can do that when his diapee is off! We are working on sitting up and tummy time for crawling. He sat up the other day for about 7 seconds and my Mom got a picture! Here are some fun pics I've taken this month. Thanks for reading! :o)

Yesterday I went to Kenny and Kara's to meet Peyton who was just born on 07-08-09! She is aboslutely gorgeous and sooo tiny! I realized that it was hard for me to remember Preston being that small! Tiny nose, ears, hands and feet. Preston's head is like, 3 times the size of hers! HAHA! It made me think back to when he was only a week old and so I was looking at pictures. He doesn't even look like the same baby! He has grown so much in the past 4.5 months. In a way its sad because he is growing up so fast! But on the other hand its so exciting because he's getting such a little personality and its exciting every time he reaches a new milestone! I'm such a sap I get all teary when he does something cute or new and I call Danny (if he's not home) or my Mom to share! Here are some fun pics I wanted to share!

4th of July!

Yesterday was Preston's First 4th! He didn't stay up long enough to see the fireworks- maybe next year! We went over to my Mom and Dad's for an awesome steak dinner, then went onto the golf course behind their house to watch the fireworks at Schnepf Farm. My Mom did some family pictures for us. Thanks MOM!!! Hope everyone had a fun and safe Independence Day! :o)

Preston's 4 month checkup

Well today Preston had his 4 mo. checkup. We are a little behind on the checkups since he had RSV, we couldn't get his 1 mo. shots because he was sick. So now we are behind but thats OK! Anyway, he did great! He was in the 5th percentile at 2 mo. for height and weight and head cir. Now hes in the 50th! So he's all caught up! He is tippin' the scales at 14 lbs. 4 oz. and is 25" long! He is a hefty eater so she gave us the OK to start him on veggies. I gave him sweet potatoes for lunch today. Mom took pics so I'll post those! He also got his shots which he took like a champ! He as mad for about 10 seconds (turned beet red and screamed at the nurse!) and then forgot all about it for the rest of the day! The doc said he is really strong! And as I was telling her he is able to roll over both ways she was saying "oh really? wow!" and then off he went, tummy, back, tummy, back all the way down the exam table to her! HAHA! Show off! Preston has come such a long way in the last few months, and we've all been through so much with him being sick. He is such a blessing and I thank God everyday for sending him to us. Danny's First Fathers Day!

Danny had to work on Father's Day so Preston and I gave him his present on Saturday. We made him a card, the picture of it will be in this post. And we got him some board shorts since he loves to wear them every day! We got a great deal on them and he loved them! Here are some pics of Preston and Daddy. Happy 4 month birthday Preston!!!

Today our baby boy is 4 months old. My how the time flies! We all spent the day together and went to some fun birthday parties. Happy 1st birthday to Jace, and 2nd birthday to Haydyn!! Preston was such a good boy, mingling and everything! He is able to roll over, although its not usually by choice..He laughs and coos, and can hold his head up on his own now. He has been sleeping through the night since about 3 months. Here are some of Preston's current favorites at 4 months old...
